Catchin' Up!

We don't always have internet, so it makes it difficult to keep the blog up to date. And sometimes I just get lazy! Can you believe it? Anyway, Bob and I are in Durango, Colorado right now (Monday, May 11th). We have been here since Friday of last week. We are staying at a KOA park. It is quite nice and the weather has been wonderful. I will post some picture albums of places that we were at before arriving here. Our plan is to leave tomorrow morning and head to Mesa Verde National Park located in southwestern Colorado for a four night stay. We are working our way to Monument Valley (where a lot of John Wayne movies were filmed) and then to the Grand Canyon.
I had an enjoyable Mother's Day. I spoke to all three children and that was great. Bob and I also got to talk to our moms. The KOA was hosting a pancake and sausage breakfast on Mother's Day, so we attended and actually it was very nice. At least I didn't have to cook.
Today was laundry day. Thank goodness we didn't have much to wash.
We will stop at Walmart tomorrow for groceries and put gas in the motor home. Usually there is not much close to National Parks and I doubt that we will have internet or tv reception.
We are at an elevation of 6500 feet and you can tell it for sure. The air smells so clean and piney. The mountain views are beautiful.
I will close for now and get supper ready. I will update again as soon as we have internet.
As always, we miss our family and friends and appreciate them very much.
