Hey, Joe, Happy 27th birthday, baby boy! We hope that you have a wonderful day!
Today, July 7th, Bob and I will leave Gypsum, CO and drive about 120 miles to Golden, CO for the night. We are slowly making our way home.
We spoke to the girls and Joe recently and everyone seems fine and quite busy. Ella even told us that "something fishy was going on".
The temperatures have been in the mid 80's and a little humidity. Nothing like Missouri, that's for sure.
As always, we miss our family and friends and appreciate them very much.
Mary, Bob, and Miles, too!
Sharing stories of our travels and experiences as we full time RV acoss the USA in our 2005 Kountry Star along with our cat, Miles. Come on along!

Happy Birthday, America!
We arrived in Grand Junction, CO on Friday, July 3rd. We will stay until Monday, July 6th.
Today (July 4th) Bob and I went to Colorado National Monument National Park. It was very pretty. It was established in 1911 and covers 32 miles of rugged up and down terrain. John Otto campaigned tirelessly to have the area set aside as a National Park. He built miles of trails through the area so others could enjoy its beauty. In 1911 his dream came true; the park was established and he was named the park's caretaker, a job that he gladly did until 1927 for $1.00 a month.
The weather has been quite nice, just a little warmer in the afternoon and some humidity. Bob decorated the motor home with our flags and we heard fireworks all evening.
We have all the laundry caught up and grocery shopping done, so I am not sure what we will do tomorrow. Kim called this evening and we got caught up with her news.
God Bless America!-the GREATEST country in the world.
As always, we miss our family and friends and appreciate them very much.
