Superstition Mountains

Check out the pictures from our drive to the Superstition Mountains. It is a beautiful drive. And the scenery is awesome!
As always, we miss our family and friends and appreciate them very much.

Living the Good Life at Good Life RV Resort

Bob and I arrived in Mesa, Arizona on March 1st. We had reserved a site for 1 month at a 55 and older adult RV community. We had my cousin, Janet, check it out before we arrived and she gave us the okay.
We love it here! We love Arizona! We love retirement!
The park has about 1200 residents for the winter season. Mostly these people own what is called a park model home. It is smaller than a double wide and not quite as big as a single wide trailer. But they are very nice with all the conviences of a stick built home. The park offers 2 heated swiiming pools, 2 hot tubs, 3 laundry facilities, 3 sets of showers (very clean, hot, hot water), pool hall, card rooms, jewerly making room, putting greens, batting cages, horseshoe pits, woodworking shop, bar-b-que grills, shuffleboard lanes, it's own post office, social halls, quilting, church, bingo on Friday nights, a sewing room, a lot of things for sure. Like they say, if you are bored, it's your own fault! Everyone has been very friendly. The weaather is great. We want to come back here for sure. We have been lucky to be able to spend some time with my cousin Janet, her daughter Dawn, and her family. They are so special to us. Family is everything.
We also found out that there were some Antonia, MO residents in the park. Mr. and Mrs. Barbro have been coming here for 19 years. We were able to spend some time with them. They are the most wonderful people. Bob and I went to school with their youngest son and the girl he married. Small world.
Our stay of 1 month has turned into 6 weeks. But that's okay. Tomorrow we will head for Dead Horse Ranch in Cottonwood, Arizona. It's about 130 miles from here. Arizona is a beautiful state and so much to see and do. It really is worth a trip.
As always we appreciate our family and friends and miss them very much!
